Review from a Transgressive Fiction Fan
Once banned as obscene, “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” is more about sexual politics than it is about sex.
Exploring the the psychology of men and women from different social strata, while making philosophical forays into the eroding class system in 1920’s England, mass consumerism, agrarian versus industrial societies, and other topics too numerous to mention in this review.
It’s remarkable how Lawrence manages to insert so many subjects into what might have been a run of the mill love story.
“Insightful” Review from a Mainstream Reader
This book’s an inversion of erotic. Love the claim that women who like sex with men are lesbian. All hail that reasoning.
