Review from a Transgressive Fiction Fan
I love this man’s writing. The words so poetic and the story unfolds like a bad dream, and you get the workings of a man who suffers from amnesia and is starting to get his memory back in chunks, but you can’t be certain if any of those flashes are true. Very abstract, like Memento meets Breaking Bad.
“Insightful” Review from a Mainstream Reader
Luckily you dont have to invest to much time to finish this book. There is really only about 20 pages of actual story the rest are descriptions of visual effects. Its as if Clevenger is pleading with Terry Gilliam to turn this into a movie. This story is in the wrong medium. On the plus side I would love to watch this if it was a movie it would be a trip.
